The Green Knight and the Master of Esgaroth  by Le Rouret 13 Review(s)

I KNEW she was no good!!

But I didn't expect you to go there. I'm actually a little too horrified to write a decent review. I think I'm just gonna go find my dog and give him a few hugs. Dear me. I'm not worried for Thranduil anymore. I'm terrified. And a big "uh-oh" for Bandobras and Tamin! You know you have to update very quickly after this, don't you? You just have to!

Author Reply: Your instincts told you right! Sometimes the victims are just as abusive as their abusers.

Go hug your dog; I'm sure he'll appreciate it. And yes, I'm going to try to update as quickly as possible! Sadly, it is "show season" and I am spending WAY too much time at the barn ...

Thanks for the review!

*Sigh*

I always thought Legolas was sensible - what on earth possessed him to meet with Renna in such a place, without escorts or witnesses? And what is her power and hold over him? (I'm guessing it's some drug hidden in her false hair!)

Author Reply: No sleep for a month, worried about his people, some strange power exerting control over him ... well, he was a touch impetuous to begin with; let's just assume he's not thinking clearly, and give him the benefit of the doubt!

And kudos for picking up on the hair ... but, *shhh*!!!

Thanks for the review!

Oh my word! Poor Legolas! But he's strong enough to resist!

At least now one thing has been revealed: Renna is not just her husband's "poor victim", at any rate! Of course we still do not know what she *is*, other than some sort of imposter...

And I can't help thinking that the water is a clue of some sort.

Tamin and Bandobras? Well, one thing I do know--small though he may be, Sir Bandobras is a hobbit and a Took. He'll do everything in his power to protect young Tamin. Let's just hope he doesn't have his head cracked again!

Author Reply: Let's just hope he doesn't have his head cracked again! If you ask me, it's Legolas who needs his head cracked. The impetuous idiot; he reminds me of what trinki_spinki's hubby described as St. Peter's philosophy: "Ready, Shoot, Aim!"

I'm glad you still have faith in Sir Bandobras. Never send an Elf to do a Took's job!
