| I can honestly say this is as graphic a portayal of grief as I've ever read. I know it's fiction, but you've painted extremely vivid scenes of each character's reaction to Legolas' death = so much so that I myself am heartsick. I think this is the first work of yours I've read, Jocelyn, and I'm extremely impressed. Thank you! Gotta get to bed now, but I'll be reading and commenting again as I read the story. | |

| I should have reviewed this long before - sorry! The final chapter and epilogue was so good - Legolas's decision not to sail over the sea was so well described and explained. He finally realised how much he had left in Middle Earth, and how his leaving would affect those he loved. And I especially liked the description of Disaran's fate - the vengeful part of me knows he deserves nothing less. This was well worth waiting for. Jay | |

| Oh what a great story........!!!! It kept me a day and a night busy reading and let me forget all my duties for my family!!! To bad it is over...sigh! So how does it go on with Legolas and Gimli.....and what will happen when finally the time of their departure comes! :) Superb work!!!! | |

| Jocelyn: Wow...what a chapter. The hiatus hasn't taken anything away from the story. :D I'm so glad so see Disaran get his just desserts; it was also good to see that those he killed were... well, their fea safely in Mandos. I liked how Galadriel advised Legolas when he worried about their fates. And of course, wonderful character interactions; I especially like the Legolas and Frodo talks in this (and a previous) chapter. :) | |
