I'm so pleased you are posting these here. This is very moving.I assume it is Aragorn and Arwen?

Author Reply: Yep, Linda, when I had the word this was my first thought and so I wrote it down.

I hope this also has a sequel, for I wish to better understand the "beast."

Author Reply: Yep, sequel will follow.

The beast? Hmm.

The sword is not only a more honest weapon, but the one he understands and has already mastered; while Isildur's Bane would master its bearer and all about him.

Author Reply: My idea exactly.

Parting can be such sweet sorrow....

And wonderful to see you posting again.

Author Reply: Thanks a lot, Larner! However, gratitude I have to pass to Michelle, who started this "prompt" challenge and lured me (somehow ;) ) into writing. As you can see, if it's only for 500 words it's not a story at all.

Who is this cloaked frame? OOH how I hate cliffhangers!

Author Reply: I know. Bad me. But 500 words grant nothing more than a page...

Oh My Gosh! Welcome Back!!

First of all...This is beautiful! Imagine..such a little word like "forest" can trigger such emotionally charged writing. (And in only 369 words!) Again, you've managed to "jump start" my heart.

I've missed your writing and I hope you stay for a while. I hope your endeavors worked out for you.

Author Reply: Hi RS, missed you, too!! And thanks for the compliment. If my ideas keep coming I might stay for these little "prompts".

You probably have no idea how excited we all are that you're writing in the fandom again! And this piece was just beautiful. Very tender and romantic and atmospheric and all those things we love. *Sigh* Superb as usual. Even short writings from you are better than nothing at all as these little vignettes prove.

Author Reply: *Blush*
Well *author clears throat* uhm... Love to read that you liked it. What else is there to say? Love to be around again, Viggomaniac, no doubt.
