| I like Aragorn's calm acceptance that Merry is indeed alive based on Gandalf's actions alone. It shows how very much he trusts Gandalf. Later he shows his faith in Merry when he cautions, ("Do not underestimate the fortitude of the halflings," Aragorn assured both brother and sister, "the entire fate of Middle-earth now rests with two such halflings. If we were to lose faith in Frodo and Sam, then all is lost.) He knows that Merry is not to be under-valued. I do hope there is more soon. I am anxious for Merry to arrive at the Houses of Healing.
