| There are no words... to describe how....completely, totally.......AWESOME ( for lack of a better word) This story is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it! I even printed it out!!!!!!!! I want to be able to read it over and over!!!!!!!! This is the best!!!! I read this a long time ago, and now that I figured out to post a reveiw.... THIS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've read Hostage of Hate too, and they both are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plus Legolas is my favorite character! | This was the very first LoTR fanfic that I ever read and it is, to me, still one of the best. I remember when I found this (after slogging through story after story on fanfic.net and despairing that I'd ever find something other than Mary-Sues) staying up all night reading all 28 chapters in one sitting because I could not put it down! From the very beginning, it grabbed my attention and would not let go until the very end. This is a story I can read over and over and always enjoy with the perfect mix of angst, action, and humour. Your original characters came to life and had so much personality, they were a joy to get to know. Some authors are very good with descriptions (the way they describe things, you can see it perfectly in your mind, whether they are places or people or moods, etc.) and other authors are very good with dialogue. You have the gift of being able to do both. Wonderful, wonderful story! Looking forward to reading more fics from you! (I am halfway through Hostage of Hate - will review once I am done!) | |
