Ah! I was wondering where Chapter 8 was! “Now come the days of the kind,” Gandalf says Um, I think you meant to write King, not kind. :) Ahh, but you are a rare creature to behold in Gondor, my dear Frodo. For a humble hobbit to be stared at by so many must be unnerving indeed. You portrayed Frodo's discomfort well ... I hope he finds some comfort in the fact that dear Sam is just about as uncomfortable as he. It's going to take some time for them to get used to their new home away from home. ~Elemmírë~

Poor Frodo! Your writing of him suffering the beginnings of post-traumatic stress is well done. The manner in which you're portraying him, makes it easy to see already how changed a hobbit he is, especially when compared with the other hobbits. Frodo's already being distanced from them, so to speak, even though he himself is confused, knowing he is not quite right, but doesn't know exactly what's wrong either. I hope he finds comfort soon. ~Elemmírë~ p.s. I'm seriously contemplating a second viewing of 'Pirates' myself :) Author Reply: Really? You think so? Thank you! I've had help from Antane. I'm glad you like it! God bless, Ellie p.s. See it again! I've seen it three times already, and I loved each one! Of course, I am one of the only ones I know that liked the second one too, so...

Oh, poor Frodo! It would be so hard, I think, to learn to live this new life after all that happened. Very good portrayal of a flashback of sorts. Er, you might want to check the chapter numbers. What happened to 8? :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Yes, poor Frodo! I fixed the chapter numbers now. Oh dear, I must be really tired tonight, I completely forgot to post chapter eight! (I just got back from seeing Pirates 3 again, so I'm sort of hyper!! *bounces*) God bless, Ellie

To find the Sea Longing in such a mortal as Frodo must have been surprising to Legolas, and yet must have seemed quite right on reflection. And poor Frodo, reliving the awakening again, finding himself sitting on the floor and making up excuses for Sam's benefit.

What a nice surprise to see another chapter, my dear! I think it would be hard in a way to come back even when called by a loving voice but a reward awaited even if Frodo didn't know it yet. I hope he learned to open up in the West and let the poison of his wounds drain out. Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :) Author Reply: Yes, I hope so too. After all, that is what he left for, is it not? Thank you for reviewing! God bless, Ellie

*Yea!! Another chapter!!* I love the humor in this. Leave it to Pippin to get caught in a berry bush as tall as he is now. *shakes head* And I liked Frodo's remembering Aragorn calling him back. But I do wonder just why he was on the floor, and *what* is the matter? I could guess, but...when are they going to find out? More soon, pleeeeease!!! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Lol! That just appeared on my page without any warning! Pippin has a way of getting himself into situations like that... *grins* As for what's going to happen and what's the matter... I know, but you'll have to wait to find out. God bless, Ellie

I always think Gandalf could at least have let them wear some soft underwear.Poor Frodo wearing those horrid Orc garments again ! Author Reply: Lol! Yes, that is true, I never even thought of that! How inconsiderate of me. *blushes* God bless, Ellie

I'm intrigued too with what Aragorn and Sam talked about. I ache that Frodo is just beginning to realize that things are not quite right with him. Sam already called Frodo dearest - that seems to be the best name for him coming from his brother. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane Author Reply: Yes, I am still not sure what they were talking about, but I am sure we'll find out soon enough. Yes, that is definatley the best name for Frodo coming from his Sam. *grins* God bless, Ellie
