| I love this story! Not only do I get Gimli and Leggy, but I get A BABY TOO! ::beams happily:: Not only that, I get LEGGY and A BABY! LOL! I love how natural Gimli is with the child; it makes him so much more endearing and so very real. The tenderness he has with her is so completely real and I really enjoy that. | Strange the elf and the dwarf might be - but they're good people to have around in a fight. If anyone can keep the child and her foster family safe, it will be the two of them. Although a patrol of elven warriors at this point wouldn't come amiss. I wonder what the men will think of being in the midst of creatures from legend. Especially if they arrive in the company of the Woodland King. | |

| I adore the bantering between the two friends, and grieve that they must fight to protect this party of Mankind. But if any can do it, Legolas and Gimli will be able to do so. I'm glad they joined the blacksmith's party after all, and hope the aid of other Silvan elves isn't needed. | |

| Abrum seems a good sort - and Legolas and Gimli will be very useful additions to the trip. Their journey will be swifter, too, if they have milk on tap rather than having to coax milk donations from passing does. Looking forward to more! | |
