| Pearl, this is absolutely wonderful!! I've been waiting for you to expound on your Pippin's "secret talent" for quite a while--and I am so happy to now read it! | Aw, how cute! I never thought of lads knitting before, but i suppose if they're good at it... It kind of reminded me of Wallace and Gromit, where the dog knitts. Loved this story! God bless, Elanor Author Reply: Thank you, Elanor! I didn't know their dog knits, LOL. I got the idea for Pip knitting from a school where my Mom used to teach. One of the 4th grade teachers picked a project every year that her class would work on that would then be auctioned off and the money go for a class trip. She had them knit squares for afgans one year, crochet one year, quilt another year. The boys would do one afgan or quilt and the girls would do one. My Mom said every year, the one the boys made was the better of the two. Thanks so much for responding :) | |
