Legolas's aunt asking Gimli to look after Legolas was very sweet, as was Legolas's gift for him. I love how you are portraying the relationships of all these people! Great job.

Shockingly young. Only a mere half a millennium. It's no wonder his aunt wants to tuck him up in the nursery. I love watching the relationship between Legolas and Gimli build into a king of mutually protective friendship. And naughty Pippin - fancy eating the elf's food . . . though if he offers it and you're a hungry hobbit, what else can he expect? I do like these glimpses. More soon? (How's Hidden Agenda coming along? Looking forward to more of that, too.)

Wow! Now this one I had never read before. I love stories about Gimli and Legolas working out their friendship together. I loved this conversation. So personal and sweet. I imagine this was their first real talk. Great job!

Of all of these, this one has always been my favorite (I still can't believe I've never reviewed them). I like the idea of the people in the Fellowship spending time together in Rivendell. I love the conflict here--it was so well done. “What little I understood, I will not repeat.” Too funny! And I have always enjoyed the idea that Pippin is only then learning who exaxtly Legolas is. That was a cool idea. I really love this one.

Wonderful! Of course I thoroughly believe Legolas was in the Battle of the Five Armies and it is very realistic that he would have been injured. One of my favorite stories is Of a Father and Son and this reminds me of that story (Thranduil's jealous care of his injured son). And I like the interaction with Gandalf and Bilbo's apraisal of Legolas at the end. These are so well done.

I'm sure I've read this before too. I can't believe I didn't leave reviews. I enjoy the idea that Bilbo told Legolas about the escape from the caverns. :) And the rest of the banter between the twins, the hobbits and Legolas was wonderfully done. But I love the end--I wish we could see that archery contest too!

Thought I would look at the rest of these. I've read this one somewhere before. Funny discussion. I love the Desk Boy reference (I've read that story too) and the implication of the last line. :)

Oh I liked this conversation. I like views on Legolas and Gimli's friendship. I especially liked, That lad needs a keeper, more so than even Pippin I’d say. I bet Legolas would have been floored by that comment! :) Very nicely done.

I always love Fellowship stories. These are lovely, each one standing alone, yet building a cumulative effect. I like the slow understanding developing between Gimli and Legolas, and I have always been intrigued by the fanon theory that Aragorn and Legolas were friends before the Council. I must say I really loved the story in which Pippin went to comfort Legolas. I can see that your primary interest seems to be Elves, but you have the hobbits down very well indeed. This is also the first story I've read in which Legolas and Bilbo were previous friends. I look forward to seeing a few more of these.

I love the sensitive and intelligent Gimli and his budding friendship with the young Legolas. And Legolas's protective aunt is interesting. I'm not surprised he was willing to run off with the Fellowship to get a bit of space. Makes his decision to go a lot more understandable!
