A good read! I liked the way you introduced the characters in the story...it just gave it a more real feel.

Pannad is right...little Legolas saw lots of things that little ones shouldn't have to be exposed to. The coping was believable, and captured very well. I was happy when he was reunited with his Ada. : )

An excellent story! Filled with nice little details that to build a complete picture. The story is very well written, too. I especially liked how you handled the accents. Usually when accents are attempted, the characters using them end up sounding like caricatures rather than real people. But I never felt that way with these. Well done.

You captured the fear and the uncertainty of not being able to speak the same language very well. The human family was very loving and very kind, and I was so glad to see Legolas from a wonderful, loving home. I think if I were him, though, I would never have let Elladan and Elrohir leave without me - no matter how nice the family, I'd have been chasing off down the road after their horses and begging to be taken home! Overall, a very nice story.
