A very exciting chapter, it seems that Ghayur is one of the good guys after all !Good for Arwen to seize her chance to help in her own rescue.Aragorn must be furious.I will miss this tale when it's over.

That, I suppose, is the result of my own suppositions, that you would have had the people of Umbar between Gondor and Harad as I do in my stories. So, Haytharm was son to the previous Calif of Harad, was he? And now he will be less than nothing due to his cooperation with Nasir. I am sorry for Thanos, for I believe he might have been a fine man with proper guidance. Now he is but dead meat rotting in the ground near Paros.

Now, for Aragorn and Eomer to deal with those from Nurn and offer them proper guidance, unlike Nurn.

An interesting turn of events indeed. Both Ghayur and Aragorn have been betrayed by Nasir, then.

I'd so hoped that Faramir would make it in time to save the Elven healer, but I see it was not to be. However, the plan, I think, is sound.

That they should have been able to get out of the city with Arwen, however, I find somewhat suspicious.

Now, Aragorn, you have much to do in Harad. Get to it, Man.

Nasty man, this Umbari lord. I think he is about to meet his match, however. Come on, Faramir!

Ah, Eowyn has learned much wisdom. And I look forward to her encounter with the one bringing Faron eastward. I doubt the man will be glad of it, myself. And Legolas is coming....

Love the aphorisms Ghayur spouts. An interesting man indeed.

And so now Eowyn is one of Thanos's treasures, is she? To be used against Faramir and Aragorn for not giving them guidance in how to live free, perhaps?

Interesting indeed.

Thank Eru. I have to admit I felt sorry for Thano. He truly doesn't understand. I think he couldn't imagine a life different than the one he lived under for so long. The strong abused others and he had to act to keep his people from being the abused ones.

Well, Ghayur saved the day after all and Thano became the sacrificial lamb. Nasir and Haytham will get their just dessert by the looks of things.

The tango of words between Aragorn and Ghayur at the end was interesting and well done. Ghayur may not have been the bad guy in this round, but if I were Aragorn, I'd keep my eyes and ears alert for this guy. I think the spy trade will continue to thrive in both Gondor and Harad.
