| First, Happy belated birthday. Tonight in honor of your b-day, a special showing of Return of the Kings, with loads of butter popcorn. This was a great chapter for the holidays, reminding us of what is truly important, those we love surrounding us even in difficult times. Seeing a light, hearted Legolas with children was great too. After this is over we are going to have to get Hamille bonded quickly. Legolas needs some eflings to play uncle to. Tell Celeborn, Hope is what the holidays are all about Now for my birthday (I'm a new year's day gal) can I ask Santa for a new chapter?? Author Reply: Mae govannen, Eliza! | First of all, Happy Birthday to you.I hope that you have a wonderful day. Ahh, what grief to end with! Legolas' friends are understandably upset at what he has done, but they couldn't really have expected Legolas to do anything less than go to the Shadow Realm to find Aragorn.After all, Legolas wouldn't be the elf they loved so much if he didn't at least try and bring Aragorn back.They will now have to trust that Legolas'love for Aragorn will break the hold the Shadow has on the King of Gondor.It will be tough......but I'm really, really looking forward to the upcoming battle that Legolas will engage in.Go, Legolas! | Hi Still reading your story and loving every word of it! Enjoyed this chapter very much and the thought of explaining Legolas's condition to Thranduil is a conversation i would love to witness! Looking forward to the next chapter. Author Reply: Hi, Kitty, Lovely to hear again from you! Yes, it would be interesting to see how Celeborn explains Legolas' choice, and his own role in supporting it, to Thranduil, so I think I'll give that event a miss for now. :-) If Legolas and Aragorn make it out of the realm, the King will probably start on another long lecture on why Legolas should leave for Valinor (if you've read my other story "For the Love..."). By the way, I never asked you: are you the Kitty from fanfic.net - who wrote stories for a while, then stopped?
