In Shadow Realm  by Legolass 13 Review(s)
Silivren TinuReviewed Chapter: 7 on 11/1/2005
I LOVE updates! *kisses screen* I can't wait to know what Sam has in his pack... *starts reading*

Sam is so sweet, he must miss Frodo terribly sometimes... *huggles hobbit* The Light of Eärendil... I always loved this phial, it is wonderful that it is given to Legolas now. Though this seems to mean that there is a lot of darkness to come... *looks at title of story* Hm, definitely. What are you going to do to that poor elf that he needs so much light to keep him going? *raises eyebrow*

Poor Sam! *fond chuckle* It must be very difficult to keep being a practical, right-minded hobbit when Galadriel talks to you in your dreams...

"cast its clear gleam on a wondrously fair face framed by a halo of gold, Aragorn felt he was watching, all at once, the magnificent rising of Anor, and the soft glow of Ithil, and the subtle glitter of all the stars in the night sky." - This is sooo beautiful... *sighs and melts*

"how glad he was that he would not live to see the day when all the beauty of the Fair Folk, and all the magical charm that exuded from their very presence, would be forever gone from Middle-earth" - *sniff* What am I doing here? I do not need a gull - your stories are quite enough to wake the sea-longing in everyone. *sniffs and gropes for tissues* "robbed of breath" indeed - oh blissfully ignorant, loveable elf! *smiles*

Methinks they should really listen to their suspicions... "So I won't lose..." - wait a moment: hope? Estel? Does Legolas think she talked about losing Aragorn? *shudders*

AHA. She did talk about Aragorn... *shiver* Poor elf, this must be worse for him then being endangered himself - I wouldn't be surprised if Aragorn was actually relieved now. *shakes head* Perhaps I should ask now what you are going to do to that poor ex-ranger?! *pointed look*

This chapter was wonderful (once again). I already suffer from update-longing again. ;-) Looking forward to the next chapter,

an enchanted Wet Puddle *sigh*

Hey WP: I'm back! Sleepy - but back. Determined to reply to some reviewers before I go to bed.

"Poor elf, this must be worse for him then being endangered himself - I wouldn't be surprised if Aragorn was actually relieved now." You are right on BOTH counts - that's how much those two friends care about each other, at least in my stories. *Sigh* But as for what will happen to the poor Ranger - I guess we gotta wait and see - you and me both, to see what my mind cooks up! lol.

Glad you liked that bit of elf worship too - the Phial and the gorgeous elf - what a killer vision. *louder sigh*

Thanks for your wonderful presence here as usual, Tinu. Hope to talk to you again soon. :-)

Ooooo, I knew when the phial appeared it would be needed for something dire! What a tease, having Sam not able to remember at first! By the way, your Same is great. And now we have to wait to find out the exact nature of the danger ahead. Very good chapter! ~TF

Thank you, TF. Glad you liked Sam as much as I enjoyed writing him. :-)

Aha! I knew it!
Just kidding... Couldn't have guessed, but very, very well thought. It was, after all, only logical that in a story with shadow in the tittle, light would be so important, particulary the light of the elves. Great suspense build up, with the actual words having to be drilled out of Sam, *g* poor hobbit, until we could understand Galadriel's real meaning. Good job!

Thank you, Ophium. I think a couple of readers did guess it, but of course I had to keep quiet till this chapter. The "poor hobbit" could never guess the important role he has played in delivering it.

Lovely to have you as the first reviewer for this chapter! :-)
