I seem to have somehow issed lat chapter, but both were great. Poor elfling! yet it was great fun to see BElder starring here! Ha! Who would have told! A sign that one can grow up his own foolishness!

Yet Estel is being greatly adolescent here, poor Elrohir! I laughed loud at the end of last chapter! I couldn't belive it, yet it was so accurate! I can clearly picture Elladan`s exasperation and LEgolas wishibg he were somoewhere else! And nother story! Now! poor Elrohir, yet good for us! :-)

It is NO GOOD! You are going to have to make that brat suffer. A lot. He is such a good depiction of a kid his age. Every word reminds me of how totally infuriating and insensitive and flipping KNOW-IT-ALL they are at that age - when they, in fact, know pretty well nothing. He has no conception of the difference between facing your fears and going on regardless and having no fear. Elladan is about to explode.

Poor Elrohir. And, if he doesn't get his back/shoulder seen to soon, he is going to be dependent on Legolas to get them out of there - because dweeb-boy won't be any use.

Can we see Estel get a good kicking - please? He is such an annoying little ... Dunadan.

The immature and stupid way Estel is behaving in this, I am astonished Elladan (who should rather rest and allow himself to recover) and Legolas are still trying to convince him instead of simply telling the annoying brat to shut up already, and not speak to him again until he apologized. They should take him back to Rivendell and tell him that he won't be taken to any other trips until he apologized and learned some empatghy, and he won't be taken on dangerous missions until he learned that true valor is overcoming one's fear; because as long as Estel thinks you have to feel no fear to be a warrior, and sneers at anyone who does, he is a liability and danger to any group of warrior who would take him along.

I am beginning to lose patience with Estel here and I am astonished that Elladan still has some.

You mean there was another traumatic experience for Elrohir?? Oh my poor darling! *hugs Elrohir* You're torturing him quite a bit, don't you?

Just now I don't truly know if I first want to knock sense in Estel or rather go and comfort poor Elrohir. It is about time *someone* looks after Elrohir and tends to his other injuries! And not only the bodily injuries, but the injuries of the soul as well. Well, I know in "Lost" Aragorn is a wonderful young man who helds his brother in very high esteem again, but although that is some comfort, right now I feel quite violent because he insists on Elrohir being a coward!
Estel had a sudden desire to drop the bandages, grab Elrohir, and hug away the hurt that he had caused. *WHY* couldn't he do exactly *this* instead of being the stubborn human again?? Maybe you should be worried about how protecting Estel from the wrath of your readers ;-)

Anyway, wonderful chapter, and of course now I *can't* wait for the next update!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Oh my - poor Elrohir! He had another encounter with rats? No wonder it all had such a terrible, lingering efect on him.

I really think that Elladan (or Legolas if he's not well enough) should go and find Elrohir and drag him back to their camp. They know he's hurting inside, they know there's at least one injury they missed, they know he needs support. He shouldn't be alone right now - I'm worried about him.

I still want to kick Estel into next week!!

Thanks for the update,

Jay
