Wonderful depiction of this crucial moment of decision!

This is lovely! So many elements of hope woven into the scene despite winter's chill: spring, new life emerging, flowers blooming, "soon wed", sunrise, rebirth... and evil defeated. I greatly enjoyed getting a glimpse of Faramir in this mood.

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I am glad that this resonated with you. I always feel like Spring is the season for hope and rebirth. :) And i love writing Faramir and that it worked!

My favorite season as well. Yes, the promise given as the snow and ice give way to flowers and new growth, and for his spirit as well after the unimaginable losses and graces shown to him and the world of Middle Earth.

Author Reply: Thank you! i am glad i could fit in so much in 100 words and glad for the prompt to help me think of this. You wrote it well in saying that he was faced with "unimaginable losses and graces".

It would be some time before he could truly mourn properly for both his brother and his father. Nicely written!

Author Reply: I think mourning is indeed a process. I am glad that you think this was written well! =)

Not a good idea for him to lead with a suggestion she could better herself. Heh! At least he got the ending right!

Author Reply: I think those that love us the most are the most courageous to offer constructive criticism- but perhaps Merry did that too soon without the proper courtship. ;)

Ah, but the sweetness of being home once more with his own true love at Yuletide.

I love the image of Sam in front of a warm fire resting. If anyone has earned that it has been Sam. I also like the way Foto is still looking out for Sam and because heís feeling better and able to do so heís seeing to Samís health and comfort. So very like.Frodo.

Author Reply: yes, i like to think of Frodo looking out for Sam at times too. Thank you!

Such a comforting tale to go to bed on. Thank you. It's lovely to see Sam at rest at last. He certainly earned it!

Author Reply: Thanks so much! A happy and rested hobbit def helps before bedtime. :) For so many sleepless nights in MOrdor and the Quest in general, a good night's sleep is most cherished post Quest. :)
