| I am a bad, bad professor. I'm trying to write a letter to an author and I'm having trouble, so I clicked idly on SoA and found your new chapter and immediately abandoned my task and settled happily down to read. Yay! Seregon. Good. You can see his concern for Aldamir, and someone has to be concerned. I'm glad that Tree forced him into playing. I'm increasingly puzzled by the Calith thing. If it's not just a misunderstanding, then is he somehow forcing this? If he's not the secret that Elenna and her father share, does he know it? The description of how wet they all were (and Seregon's wet blanket) made me cringe. My shoes got soaked when I was in San Francisco and I think my feet still feel damp. They've made progress with their spider problem anyway. Now we need to unravel some other mysteries. Author Reply: Nah, you're a good professor! And a good friend to hang in there with me and this story. Thank you! Seregon is concerned about Aldamir. He knows him probably better than anyone on Arda and he's worried about him. Seeing Aldamir so hurt is just killing him. And he's pretty ticked off at the perpetrators. What he'd really like to do is knock heads. He wants to WIN! Slightly competitive to boot. Calith is a slippery fellow at the moment. No one is quite sure how he managed to finagle Elenna into agreeing to bond with him. If Tree is to be believed, then this betrothal and Elenna's behavior is out of character. Calith must have something up his sleeve. Wet shoes. Yuk! Seregon appreciates your sympathy. The thought of sleeping on a wet forest floor in a wet blanket makes me feel like I've mildewed. The spiders are on the run or dead. I don't think they're gone forever, but it's a nice reprieve. Now...Aldamir has time to figure this mess with Elenna out. That is, if Legolas and Daeron don't screw things up irreparably. Thanks, daw. Karen | |
