| oh, this was wonderful. pointing out the enormity, the consequences, the meaning of what they've done, well, it brought tears to my eyes. heroes, all of them, trying to deal with the reality of it. they've lost much, but they will learn to move on. what else can you do, when you've saved the world? well done. monica Author Reply: Oh, Monica, that was put so perfectly - "what else can you do, when you've saved the world?" I might have to steal that from you and put it in a story. (I would credit you, of course.) This was a difficult story to write because all our beloved hobbits had already suffered so much - it was almost like reliving it with them.
