| Loved that chapter. Loved the description of Yavanna visiting [Sam] and how everyone reacted to her appearance. That was a serious "wow" moment! Whew! Also loved Elrond playing with Pippin - footprints in the sand, Ahhhh! - and their discussion, too. Again, I can't wait for the next part - this story just keeps getting better and better. ~S | |

| I love the image of Sam teaching Pippin how to listen to the song of the plants. They each have their own unique gifts that they share with each other. I also love Pippin's awareness and complete acceptance of the differences of each of his friends, hobbit and elf. | |
