| Just discovered this story today - what a delight! I loved this: “`Pip’ sounds harmless enough,” the Ranger smiled. “Don’t believe it for a second,” Frodo sighed dramatically. And this: Frodo,” Aragorn asked softly, “are you certain that this child is speaking the Common Tongue?” “It takes some getting used to, doesn’t it?” Frodo asked with a grin. I just laughed out loud! | This story has so much fluff it's like cotton candy! I adored how Pippin seemed so fascinated by Aragorn's beard...not surprising, since it's the one facial feature you never see on a hobbit (and I'd love to know why that is - must be something genetic, like the foot hair). Good to see Bilbo taking the initiative to child proof the smial...knowing Pippin, there's no telling what he could get into if he wanted to. Keep up the great work on this story! | |
