| Lovely ficlets, shirebound, though you had me scared there for a moment when I read the last one - I thought for a split second you had delved into the slash fandom and I was about to mourn! LOL - anyway lovely ficlets (and for Varda's sake please don't ever write slash!) P.S. - And yes, I know I should have known that last one was slash seeing as SoA does not allow those types of story! | Sssssh... I'm supposed to be working! Don't tell anybody. Oh, I know I've read most of these and loved them, but I don't recall seeing the last two . . . the "Humble Hobbits" and "Sam Proposes." Adored "Humble Hobbits"---what a sweet ficlet, showing Frodo getting exactly what he deserves. I wish he'd been wearing a circlet in the movie, I have to say, as he did here and in the books. That really IS gilding the lily, isn't it... :) And for a moment I thought I was reading an F/S fic, Shirebound! Hee. So cute---especially Sam's needing to practice. He's just so nervous. These are so hobbity and excellent gapfillers. Author Reply: Your secret is safe with me! Sssssh... Oh yes, I think movie-Frodo would have looked wonderful in a circlet, but I suppose that *would* have been a bit too angelic! Not that we would have minded... After all, it *is* canon! :) | |
