| I love Merry's note and the fact that Eglantine kept it and added to it. Such a shame that Merry wasn't there when Pippin woke up, but I am very glad that he did wake up for a minute or two at least. Looking forward to more. I read this one a very long time ago, but I am enjoying it again. | |

| Hi There, You Know....I think this has to be one of, if not the, very first stories I ever read when I first started to read fan fiction...It's what encouraged me to carry on reading it, until now I am a very avid reader....Something that I totally enjoy, and love... It was excellent then, and it is still excellent now...I think it shows and proves beyond a doubt, that no matter how hard we may argue and fight with our loved ones sometimes, we never, ever, stop loving them.....If ever that happens to me, I often come back to read your story, knowing that afterwards, everything is alright with the world after all!!...Thank you.. | |

| This chapter is so full of suspense! From Pearl reading the letter and papers to whether or not the poultices would work. Merry discovering Pippin's illness... As I was enjoying this chapter, I just thought about how in your more recent stories you've inserted a bit of "faerie-like" stuff with Esme. Its a fantastic chapter/story without the suggestion, but it would've been cool to see those references here! Take care. Pippinfan | |
