Beautiful!!! Very sweet, and wonderful descriptions! You just feel the love he's expressing in every word. Author Reply: Thanks, sweety! I just love to write Saradoc as a caring father.

"Merry, the child of my soul and Frodo, the son of my heart." Oh Lily, this is beautiful and it underlines my impression of Esmeralda from your last "Schicksalsjahre" chapters :) Thank you! Author Reply: This is, in fact, a scene that in similar ways didn't make it into Schicksalsjahre. Though, I'm afraid, this is not Esmeralda speaking. It's Saradoc.

Beautiful. Of course, anything that makes us see Frodo as gentle and beautiful and at peace for the moment will tear at our hearts. Author Reply: Frodo deserves a little peace and love, after all, even though it tears at our hearts. Thanks for reading!

LOLOLOL!!! Yay for Lily! This is great! Hmm, I feel like Frodo sometimes *imitates throttling movements*. *giggles* I love this. Simply love it, shows more of the relationship between Frodo and Pippin...they needed more of that in the movie.....fabulous, once again! Author Reply: Yes, I find myself doing that quite often as well :) You're right... they should have shown more of the relationship between Frodo and Pippin in the movies.

*loooool* They're sooo cute!!! I loved the ending! And imagining a moody Frodo is fun too. Author Reply: *LOL* Yes, Frodo is delightful when moody :)

LOL! That sounds like Pippin to suddenly stop when he hears the word "cake". Sounds like a lot of other people I know too. I guess we all have a little bit of hobbit in ourselves and your understanding of them and being able to write that down is spectacular! Brilliant! *claps* Author Reply: Thank you so much! *bows deeply* I think I only understand the hobbits because there is not only a little bit of hobbit within me :) *would not resist cake either*

LOL! The mention of food always works to distract Pippin! Do you know "Reunion in Minas Tirith" by Baggins Babe? When I was reading about Pippin singing, the first thought that came in my mind was "Nineteen nights in Nobottle". That song really impressed me, though I still don't know the text ;-) Author Reply: "Nineteen Nights in Nobottle"? If he sings about every night it's a long song indeed! I guess I should have a look at that one :)

Mmmmm, beautiful! I liked the description of the green grass and sunlight! *smiles dreamily* Author Reply: Happy you enjoyed it :)

Now this I can truly see. Good old Bilbo, insistent on including and then insulting everyone about equally. Love this view of our two favorite Hobbits just before the party. Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed it :) I just love to see the two of them together.
