Well, let's just say you made MY Saturday night by posting this chapter! Excellent writing as always - the characterizations are dead on. I've always enjoyed your work and am even more thrilled to find a story with Legolas at the center. Gracias and add another chapter soon!!

Billeh? Hee hee But on with the review... I've been dying for more of this story! And it's so wonderful, Budgie. There's not a twist of a plot that you can't twist into a *new* twist of a plot. Amazing. "Stealthily, Pippin slid the hilt of the blade into the Elf’s hand then drew one of Legolas’ knives to himself, tucking the bared blade under the edges of the improvised blankets that covered Legolas." I continue to adore your ingenious hobbits. And this is the Legolas I love from "Snowball Fight", where his thoughts are always for the wellbeing of the Ringbearer, at whatever cost to himself.

What a turn of events. Legolas the one who is in trouble and about to be "bait". Cannot wait for the next chapter. Strip search the hobbits, well there is a hint of something else going on there "he did not like the way the leader had appraised the Ringbearer's slender form".
