| Poor Elrond! The twins have got the idea - not only distracted but led down the garden path! It's to be hoped that they don't meet Celebrian on their way out - and that they make it back safely before Elrond has to admit that he gave his consent to he knows not what! But the brilliant smiles are worth it. Probably. Author Reply: Well, they knew Elrond was distracted, but the grammar lesson was an added bonus.
