All for Her   by SoundofHorns 12 Review(s)

Interesting. I love how the ladies went out with the hobbits; I can really see Arwen and Eowyn raising a storm in Minas Tirith.
What was up with the end, though? I'm a bit worried that it's going to turn slashy (please tell me I'm wrong here) between A&E(the ladies, that is). I'm deathly curious to find out, and the nearly one month-long-wait for an update was a killer. Please let us know soon! Thanks!

Author Reply: No slash!! Though, lol, this could be the best slash/het story of all time couldn't it? Arwen/Eowyn, Aragorn/Faramir/Eomer, Faramir/Eomer....well, maybe not Faramir/Eomer. Something about that combination makes me giggle. Maybe because Eomer's always on top, which is silly. I'm serious, I've tried to read them and I can't even get to the sex part, I'm laughing so hard...but I digress.

The end will be explained. Arwen and Eowyn went their seperate ways after hauling Merry up the stairs and well, you know what Arwen did. LOL. Cheerful Aragorn pretty much clears that up. As for Eowyn....you'll have to wait. Not a month though! :)

Eomer is right in that all women love baby animals; or at least most of them do. I'm a sucker for puppies and kittens; and think that there is nothing cuter in this world than a young puppy. I'm assuming it's a hound (the description could indicate a foxhound, it doesn't sound like an Irish Wolfhound or Scottish Deerhound type). Since it's going to be the Queen of Gondor's pup, I also assume that there will be servants who can take the critter out on the Pelennor every day to give it the exercise it needs, otherwise it will be climbing the Citadel walls in no time - Minas Tirith is no place for any high-energy breed except for, presumably, dogs who can tolerate kennel life (I would imagine that the Steward and some nobles had hunting packs). Aragorn should have kept the more mellow pup; but presumably Arwen will be able to handle the dominant little shoe-chewer.

I'm beginning to get tired of the constant tension between Eomer and Faramir. I know that Eowyn is a huge bone of contention between them, as well as Faramir's ability to read minds. But Eomer is an adult, and he's starting to come off like a surly teenager - it's time for him to stop assuming he's the only man in the world who can give his sister what she needs.

Wasn't Gandalf going to have another talk with Faramir? If Gandalf is still in Edoras, I would have though that Faramir, as unhappy and nervous as he is, would have wanted some advice, especially since Gandalf is not going to be around much longer...

Hope you update soon!

Author Reply: LOL! Whenever I was rereading this chapter Eomer's "All women love puppies" got me every time. It's just so "man" in that all women are alike.
Hehe, anyway, the puppy is a hound and what's wrong with the Queen herself exercising it? She's already expressed an interest in hunting and with Eowyn there they can ride out and scandalize the men all they want! :D
Gandalf's coming soon. And Eomer's going to calm soon. He's been cooped up for forever, now he's getting out of Edoras and riding around like he used to. That will calm him along with some Faramir bonding scenes. I mean, Eowyn's back at Edoras--just the mind reading to fight about and Faramir promised to cease and desist.
Hmm, I've typed Faramir so many times I can no longer tell if I'm spelling it right...don't you hate that? Hehe, if there wasn't Spell Check the chapter would consist of FAramir, Farramir, Farmir, etc. LOL, I can't spell that name for anything when I'm tired.
