Dear Bilbo and his surprises! Even though I know what was about to happen, I enjoyed the way that you wrote about it from Merry and Pippin's view-point. Very good chapter. Author Reply: I'll just reply to all your reviews here! I always thought that Pervinca and Pippin would be the closest, since they are closest in age (Pippinfan also agrees with me on that! You might have noticed that in a few of her fics). I also like reading about events from a different point of view, which was the point of this chapter! Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for reviewing!

“I hope that’s not true,” Pippin said, quite solemnly for a small child. “For I don’t know what I’d ever do without you.” I love this line! Going off to read more.

Merry is very clever! One is less fighting and less trouble! Also, it was a great time to score extra points! That bit made me laugh out loud! Pippin and Pervinca were so sweet together. Pippin did a pretty fair job of being the brother-protector. I like your Pervinca, Pervinca. LOL In most of the fictions I have read she and Pippin are always fighting and it's Pearl that Pip gets along with. I like this very much.

Interesting start. You had me with the John Lennon quote. Looking forward to the big party. Author Reply: Yes, I have this terrible habbit of finding Story titles in song titles or lyrics. It's easier than making up my own! Big party is half written, and should be posted soon!

This looks like a great beginning to a story. Quite fun, the way you tell it like a hobbit book. I look forward to reading the rest.
