Author Reply: Too bad they don't have hydrogen-peroxide, huh. That never stings.

Pure alchohol in an open wound? Well, in accordance with my thinking, that would cause a very sharp, almost paralyzing jolt of pain. In fact, I believe he did well to remain as still as he did.
So, is Morwen going to get together with Eradan? I know you've said very little to suggest this. It's just a hunch. :)

Author Reply: Reading Westerns like I do, they are constantly putting whiskey on their gunshot wounds and such and everytime I read about it, it sends shivers up and down my spine. Especially when they put it on a rag on the end of an arrowshaft and shove it through someone's shoulder. AAAAAAAA!!!!!! ;)

As to Morwen and Eradan, we'll have to ask Belecthor if it's alright with him. He's very picky you know, and once we get his approval, we might ask Morwen what she thinks. So it could be a long process. Then we might have to consult Eradan. :)

I know, I reviewed this one already but I put the word stuck when I meant stick so am correcting it. LOL Also, a quick word about Morwen. As she is such a calm person, it would be interesting to see this calm put to the test. Put the dear girl in the middle of some sort of chaos and let us see how she reacts. Just thought she would be interesting as a younger sib put in charge of something that is going out of control like maybe her sisters two sons? LOL Ok, I am going to shut up and go to work now.

Author Reply: That would be interesting, wouldn't it? Just send Harding up for a month. ;) I think Faramir might kick him out before the month was up, great-grandson or not. That kid just won't stop TALKING! ;P

Once agin, I find that the horses in your story add so much. You do them so well and I always feel like I know these animals by the end of the chapter. I don't envy Faramir having to come up with a plan by morning. He really does have a long night ahead of himself doesn't he? I will be awaiting his instructions in your next chapter.

Oh, sorry about all of the story ideas that keep coming to me for you to write. I just get caught up in the characters and decide that I want them to stuck around. Best way for them to do that is if you write them into more of these stories. LOL All of the ones that I have mentioned so far, I really would love to see you try and write. These are just such wonderful characters! I suppose you wouldn't want to write one of these from a horse's POV. LOL There I go again. Just ignore me and go on. it's very early and I am not usually up at this hour.

Author Reply: Celebros is a wonderful animal, isn't he? I've always wanted a nice big horse like him, although a sorrel would be more my color. :)
Yes, Faramir has a long night ahead of him. I doubt he went to sleep at all. (I can be cruel when I want to be :D) But his instructions won't be until after this next chapter, so I'm going to keep you hanging. ;)

As to the story ideas, my Dad also wants me to write him a Western, so I've got that on "broil" down in the oven, but I'm just worrying about the things on the burners right now, front and back. ;)
But no, I don't think I would even know where to begin writing a story from a horse's point of view. O_o

Now that I see Faramir, I wonder if I in fact helped spur this story along by informing you that Faramir lived to be 120? :)
Whether I did or not, I like where this is going, and I'm anxious to see the men of Gondor in action, though I myself am struggling with that very thing in my own fic.

Author Reply: Yes, Faramir would have been long dead in this story and his son Erinmir would have been ruling, but you pointed that out in the nick of time. I even had time enough to change things in WHWB before posting the last few chapters. ;)

I don't know much about the men of Gondor, so I hope I don't do anything too weird. :) Good luck with Rochmir and his bunch.

yay!

i'm so glad that belecthor is there safely

i wonder what Faramir will do

eek...i can't wait to see

great job!

Author Reply: With a good horse and a great sense of direction, you can get almost anywhere. ;) Just sit tight; Faramir will be back in a little while. But first . . .

dr_seuss_is_coolReviewed Chapter: 2 on 12/22/2003
ahh...i'm so scared for farimir

eek...and poor Belecthor...ahhhh

i thought the whole talking about getting married convo with morwen and belecthor was really interesting

great job!

Author Reply: Don't worry about Faramir. In a pinch, he's a pretty tough booger, and he's got a good head on his shoulders. (Plus a lot of good advisors and such and a rather forceful wife with her own ideas.) ;)
Belecthor's only worry is his avid following of rather giggly girls that won't leave him alone! AAAA!!! :)

I take a great amount of interest in my chacter's lives, and sometimes they just have to turn around and glare at me for being so nosey ;), but for the most part, I just want to see them happily married off to the right person. But my ideals for them are rather hard to come across, especially in the normal Higher Class, where the kids are raised as mindless royal brats (at least in the history of our world). Still, I'm searching as hard as I can and more than a few tries have been turned down by my rather particular young charges. Especially Belecthor. He's rather picky about this kind of thing, and he's nearly come to blows with young courters coming after his sisters. ;)

I am so glad that the poor soldier was found and was able to deliver his message. Now his honor is in tact and the people of Gondor will get their help. It is also good to read about Morwen and Belecthor again. Glad to see the characters' stories continued. I am still guessing as to which one of the two is the main focus of your new story. Either way I hope there is a great deal of my new favorite in these fictions; Narion. I just love that character! Would be interesting to read his history.....

Author Reply: AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! You already have me writing two more stories with one on the back burner, and now you want me to write about Narion's history! AAAAAAA!!!!!! ;) No, actually, it's just a little overwhelming the way you can throw out these great plot-bunnies and they begin to grow in my mind, and yet I have no time to write them.

In my scribble-spiral, I have an entire page or two that I'm devoting to "Grey Wonderer's Requests" and I was wondering if there were anymore you wanted. Just let me know, and I'll set it down for the future.

As to the main focus of the story, it was supposed to be Morwen, but the way things are turning out, I think it's going to be evenly split, or more on Belecthor. Morwen's just too calm a character and I can't really come up with anything very interesting to write about her. Meanwhile, Belecthor is going off into battle every five days. ;)

EomerofEastfoldReviewed Chapter: 2 on 12/21/2003
Ah, so now we're following the exploits of Belecthor. :) Very interesting. Is Ceorl going to make a cameo? :)

Author Reply: I've agonized over how to make Ceorl and Hirilian fit into this story, and I may yet find a way, but I don't know where.

Another good beginning! I am very curious about the rider. You seem to have started this one with a cliff-hanger.

Author Reply: Yes, cliff-hangers are wonderful beginning chapters. That way your readership is hooked more easily than if I began it with a long chapter like the next one. :)
