| Whew! That wasn't so bad. At least from my point of view. But it's obviously true that "disappointing" their fathers, whose good opinions they value, was painful to these younglings. I liked the little glimpse of Elrohir being the lord's son. Author Reply: Well, no, it wasn't too bad. But that was just when Elrond and Thranduil thought they'd been running around inside Imladris. If they ever find out the truth ... I don't think either of the twins are the sort to make a big thing of who they are - and can you imagine Elrond's reaction if they did? - but they will command these troops one day. They have to start somewhere! | |
