| You absolutely slay me. How do you come up with these wonderful ideas? I loved Samwise's "voice," and his spelling. According to canon, as much as hobbits write letters to each other, I am sure that our hobbits would have at least tried to send letters home. Circumspect letters, but still, they surely would have tried. Of course, the Gaffer would have to have someone read him Sam's letters! ANOTHER incredibly inventive and delightful Lindelea story. Author Reply: Thank you. This was just an off-the-cuff remark during a silly phone call with Dana that I was going to let go, but she persuaded me to write it down, and the rest is history.
