| I hadn't realized that skis were something that is really old before. I like how both the company and Kaylee are being told children's stories. Thanks, atealgirl Author Reply: Yes, that's one thing that hobbits are good at--storytelling! Bilbo is telling Kaylee stories, and Frodo is telling her siblings other stories. | Well, Caradhras certainly doesn't want them to build a snowman. :P But this was a great chapter, even though the events that were depicted are terrible for the Fellowship. I'm glad they got down the mountain again in one piece! Although as for what comes next...*shivers* And I adored the new "Tip and Tulip" story told by Bilbo! Tea with Bilbo is the best ever :) and even Lucy got her share! Yay! *melts at the image of Kaylee curled in Arwen's lap listening to the story* :) Author Reply: Yeah, Kaylee really enjoyed that story, didn't she? She certainly enjoyed herself a lot more than her brothers and sister did! =) Thank goodness the Company got safely off the mountain. | |
