Hello there!

I don't know if you still get reviews sent to you (this story's a few years old), but I'll leave one anyway.

Your Glóin is so deliciously Dwarven! His speech, mannerisms, thought processes (I mean, all those colourful names for Elves - excellent). And I could almost see the look of disgust on the Elves' faces as he fiddled with his pipe - whether he lit it or not.

Great job!

Not often do I find authors that make a mention of who Gimli's mother is. Actually, I've never seen an author that mentions Gimli's mother. Poor guy... And poor Gloin, he's getting too old for such rage.

Hey there! I've never read this before, though I've heard of it. I thought I'd review through SoA since feedback's low here.

Already I'm enjoying myself--I esp. liked Gloin's musings on the Elve's nature names and his scrutiny of Legolas--and the squeak of rage. *g*

I bet Gloin wasn't pleased when he realized who Legolas was! The council could have been really messy had the dwarves dredged up too much and it probably wouldn't have gone well had Gandalf been gone. lol, looking forward to more! Thank you!
