| I well remember my own first encounter with a squirrel at the age of three or four, and how nastily my hand was torn by the animal's nails. This rings very true, between the reaction of the squirrel and the squabbling of the children! Author Reply: Haha. I never thought anyone would say that. I have never personally 'met with' a squirrel, so it was totally a scrambling-in-the-dark idea. I am glad (and very, very relieved) that it worked in the end! I could not think of anything else when I encountered this theme, and no other minor characters too, so I just soldiered on. - Rey | |
