What a gift for Osse to have created for her! And he's managed to weave her essence into its sails. How perfect!

Author Reply: I was firstly intrigued by the description of the Teleri's first ships, those which were burnt in Losgar by the Feanorians, which said that there were no other ships more beautiful and priceless than those burnt by Feanor and his sons. I tried to capture such an awesome description in this piece; but I most likely have failed it, as you can see. :) But yes, I'm always interested in both Osse and Earwen; and I thought that giving them a definite tie would satisfy the interest nicely... and now I have fallen in love with the idea and can't take it back. LOL I'm glad you liked the piece, regardless! Osse is not an easy character to write about, despite my fondness of him, and it's hard to make the gift believeable.

Thank you for all the attention you have given this collection! I am quite glad to be in contact with you again after so long...

I do not blame him his grief. I, too, would flee, leaving the tears of rain behind.

A perfect moment caught so! I, too, would be cheering--and probably terrified as well.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving individual! Heh! Hooray for Beren!

Oh, how nicknames start! And the first true book becomes popular, apparently. Daeron is indeed the first of lore-masters!

A most apt observation! No wonder their hidden father smiles at his son's perspicacity!

A vision of the future under the light of the not-yet-born Sun? Interesting perspective of where foresight might lead one such as Earwen.

I can appreciate his stubborn clinging to known glories in spite of the danger. Lovely images this one evoked, in spite of the coarse wargs and orcs seeking to disrupt the appreciation of such beauty.
