I have a feeling Hildifons is looking on Bilbo and smiling at his nephew!

This was all wonderful and I am sorry to see it end. Like Bilbo, I will probably read it again at some point. Thank you.

Glad that Bilbo found comfort at last in his uncle's words, so that he would not regret his own decision to quit the Shire.

Author Reply: Yes, Trotter's words meant a lot to Bilbo, as did the knowledge that his uncle lived safely and among friends.

It's good that Bilbo can have hobbit company even if only in the form of another book. *suddenly has massive idea for a small hobbit's book of heroes that any sort of irregular hobbit can take with him on adventures so s/he never gets lonely*

Author Reply: Oh, that's a brilliant idea! *nudge*

Yes, good advice. Thank you, my dears, both of you. *hugs*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank *you*!

"Thank you, Uncle. You have given me good advice, whether you know it or not."

How wonderful! So, Bilbo was still wondering if he had made the right decision? Now he can be sure of it.

Author Reply: I'm sure that at first he second-guessed himself a lot-- he'd miss his family and the Shire. Knowing that Hildifons had a good life in spite of it all would have given him a little more confidence.

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 32 on 6/6/2009
Yes, Bilbo would now appreciate just how Trotter ended his life here! And it adds meaning to his Hobbit-rooms! Lovely!

Author Reply: When that little Prologue popped into my head two years ago, it just seemed right that there had been a hobbit there before!
