| I must say that I'm glad you started a 'new' grouping. I had the darndest time trying to find out what I'd read and not.... So this is great - hopefully, I will keep up with you! Lovely drabble... a very difficult time for all concerned... and I loved the three-way farewell. Author Reply: I was finding it hard to keep track of the stories too - so time for a new series! This must have been a dreadfully sad time for all concerned, but I wanted the twins and Arwen to be together at the moment of parting. | |

| This is very nice, sweet, but sad. You have to feel the sorrow they feel knowing they'll not see her for a long time. Nice touch Author Reply: I think they were probably aware that there was a chance they'd never see her again. The choice between mortality and immortality lay ahead for all of them. | |

| Beautiful drabblet, Jay! It must have been terribly hard for them. Glad they didn't know then that at least Arwen would never sail ... Author Reply: Yes - if Celebrķan and Arwen had known it was their final parting, it would have been even sadder than it was. I firmly believe that Elladan and Elrohir were reunited with their mother, though! | |

| This is so touching, Jay! *sniffles* What a horrendous experience that must have been. - Barbara Author Reply: It must have been terrible for all of them - Elladan and Elrohir blaming themselves for not rescuing her sooner; Elrond blaming himself for not being able to heal her; and Celebrķan blaming herself for not being strong enough to stay. Author Reply: Thank you - Elrohir is my favourite character to write (can you tell?) and I find it quite easy now to get inside him and think how he'd react. Despite trying to be strong for Celebrķan's sake, he can't hide his sorrow. | |
