Pippin-Frog For A Day  by Neilia 32 Review(s)
AntaneReviewed Chapter: 5 on 10/9/2009
How nice to be back with Pip-frog - I had forgotten all about him! But I love him. Those parts were so cute! *hugs him and you*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: So sorry that I took sooo long that you forgot Pip-frog's plight. All during RL's interruption, I had my mind on how to end this story and was able to write the two last chapters and post them one after another just the other day. Thank you for your review...I appreciated it so much...huggies right back from both of us,

Neilia

What a charming story! You did a lovely job portraying Pippin's plight. As a Pippin fan, should I be more disturbed that it wasn't very difficult to see him as a frog? Oh, well, I'll just attribute that to your skills as a story teller and say thank you for sharing it.

Author Reply: Pip would manage to be adorable in any form, don't you think? He is absolutely delightful and fun to write because he is such a scamp. ^_^ Hugs.

Awwww, a groggy froggy! I enjoyed this story very much, especially the ending -- very gentle and tender.

Author Reply: Thank you shirebound. Yes, a groggy froggy with a full tummy...can't you just see it? *Teehee* I liked the way it ended too. I wonder if Pip has really learned his lesson???

This is a delightful read Neila.

Author Reply: Thank you harrowcat. I appreciate the review and I am glad you enjoyed the tale.

Perfect, cute ending!
I love Gandalf in grandfather!mode. And it seems Pip might actually have learned a lesson. (yay!)
The froggy tummy full of bugs was wonderfully yucky. :) It's amazing how no matter his size or situation, Pip retains that hobbit appetite.
I enjoyed this story a lot; thanks for sharing. ^_^

Author Reply: Thank you Kitt Otter. I too love Gandalf in grandfater mode...He is precious to us all. Pip will always be Hobbity, tummy and all, no matter what his situation...that's what makes him such a delight! Hugs.

Aha! The twenty-four hours are over, and he is now fully restored. Excellent! Now to see to it he is dressed properly and fed properly, too! Love the little talk!

Author Reply: Thank you, Larner. This tale was a delight to begin and finish...so sorry it took soooo long to do so. Anyway, our little Pip and Gandalf has their beginning to their special relationship...I hope Pip doesn't try the wizard's patience too much on the Quest! ;)

Ooh, it's been a while since this was posted! Delightful! Now, to learn what the flash of light is!

Dear Pippin, he's had a day of it, hasn't he? Heh!

Author Reply: Thank you for your review, Larner. The final chapter is now posted. I hope they are okay...I didn't have a beta reader for them. The flash of light was the Ward sending the snake to the ground..not clear? Ooops. Sorry it took a year to get poor Pip outa that tree! Love ya all. Neilia

How terrible for Pip-frog! But better for all of us to know ahead of time that he's going to be all right. Love Gandalf's 'answer' to Merry's question about turning him back into a hobbit early. Pippin must really be sorry if he's going to give Merry all his afters for a week or two. I look forward to the next chapter! *hugs* *hugs Pip-frog*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Pip-frog appreciates the hugs. He will certainly be glad when he can return them with real arms again. Thank you for your lovely review, Antane. Hugs, Neilia

Oh, you really had me worried there. I should have known Gandalf would be clever about this. I was glad to see a new chapter posted. I can't wait to see what the night will bring for Pippin-Frog.

Author Reply: Me neither. I have so many possibilities floating around my head, I am dizzy! Hugs, Neilia

AndreaReviewed Chapter: 3 on 7/28/2008
Well, IF something had happened to Pippin, Gandalf would have had to fear for his life because of the wrath of Pippin's cousins ;-)

So he was very clever to apply the ward spell, too.

And I just love shirebound's word creation: Froggit :)

Author Reply: I love Froggit too! Thank you for your review. Hugs, Neilia
