Wee Ones  by cathleen 136 Review(s)

That's a funny story!

If Paladin did such things as an adult, what did he do as a ten-year-old, I wonder?

However, his egg-prank was in fact educational :-)

Author Reply: Thanks, Andrea!! Hmm, that's a good question and one I plan on exploring in the future - like father, like son, ya know!

This makes me soooo hungry! I need to go have breakfast now. :)

Author Reply: Lol, oh but my granny's bread was awesome!

This is as warm and enjoyable as the fresh bread you describe in the story. I love the charm of the new kittens tucked into Pippin's new blanket, a sight that even touches dear Tulip's heart.

Thank you, Cathleen, for a lovely read :-)

Author Reply: Fresh bread to eat and kittens to play with - what more could a wee hobbit lad ask for? *Grin* Glad you enjoyed it, Pearl!!

I love the way the cousins interact, and of course I love Tulip. I'm eager to read Paladin's story.

Great fun as always, Cathleen!

Hugs,
Pearl

Tricked, was he? Well, he's now rectifying that! Am looking forward to hearing Paladin's tale, too!

Author Reply: Lol, Pippin always has the last word, doesn't he? Paladin's tale coming soon!

“Don’t stick your tongue out at others, Peregrin,” Paladin scolded. “That isn’t polite.”

Pippin frowned. “Even if it’s just Merry?”

ROTFL!!!

That was a great story! But now you've made me curious about Pal's story and the question if Merry might be somehow involved in it.

It would be only fair if Merry received some teasing of his own ;-)

Author Reply: I couldn't agree more - I think Merry should receive some teasing too! And I think Pad might have exactly that in mind....

I love how eager Pip and Tulip were for story-telling time. I was exactly the same way when I was little.

Author Reply: Me too! I loved listening to my granny's tales, she had the gift of a true storyteller. I hope you enjoy the tale Paladin is about to tell!

Bravo! A delightful story. More mothers could use that tactic with their messy young ones.

Great fun Cathleen :-)

Author Reply: Thanks Pearl! This one was great fun to write and I'm so glad you liked it - that means a lot to me. Sorry my response is so late, but know that I take great delight in the wonderful comments you've given me, and always will!!

As I've said elsewhere, I LOVE this one! Pippin is so perfect, and Bilbo's insistence this song is ONLY good in the bath such a good way of turning the mud-monster into the one who makes fountains leap on high we meet in Crickhollow!

Author Reply: Larner, you've been so very kind offering me FB at several different places where this is posted, and I'm sending big hugs and thank you's your way! I'm so very pleased to know you enjoyed it, thank you again!!
