Okay, NOW Panic!  by Boz4PM 4 Review(s)
AspenJulesReviewed Chapter: 8 on 5/30/2006
I can just imagine the difficulty Penny would have believing in the reality of orcs. I'm afraid I would have been much like her, far too curious for my own good.

And you know - climbing *down* mountains can actually be quite as painful as going up, since you're still fighting gravity. I learned this all too painful truth hiking 8 miles down a mountainside in Yosemite. My thighs and knees took days to recover!

Oh, and you know... that Erestor can really be a pain in the bottom sometimes! LOLOL
"“Indeed,” Erestor smiled. “Now, are you up to reading do you think? Or shall we review your Westron vocabulary?”

Penny groaned at the mere mention of it.

Which was a bad move since Erestor then opted for the Westron quite deliberately." STINKER! LOL

Author Reply: Oh, I think I would be the same too - not wanting to look but showing no self-control at all.

I don't remember that in my few experiences up mountains, but then when I climbed Ben Nevis I was in agony all the way up and probably would have put any pain I was in on the way down to already being in pain (if you see what I mean).

:D

Penny’s curiosity to see an orc was understandable, but being slaughtered and maimed doesn’t improve their appearance, and I’m sure it was a very ugly sight *shudders* Very responsible of Lindir to show her one who didn’t look so badly, only a pity she saw the others.

Very wise of Lindir to offer her the sight of a relatively whole orc - and I can understand why she wanted to see it. Orcs are, after all, a rather significant part of the story. But the orc pile - enough to upset even hardened stomachs.

Being there - I'll bet some of the elves are pretty amused by her star-struck-ness.

Written very believably.

Did elves get adrenalin rushes?
LOL!
