Hello! This is really good White Wolf! Every work you've done and I have read is delightfully satisfactory(even more than that)!

Author Reply: Thank you very much, Nayru. I'm glad you like what you read.

Nice piece of writing.. Just have to say one thing: I LOVE YOUR TALES! I'm reading The Wrong Path, but it's not easy, since my friends think that I am strange, and they don't understand why I read english, and not norwegian like they do...
“I will not forgive you for this.”
“I know.”
That was kind of funny...=P

Your stories are wonderful! (Or: Helt fantastisk! As I would say in norwegian...)

Author Reply: My goodness I'm late with this. I never got notififed that your review came in.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you like my stories. I certainly hope by now, you've managed to finish "The Wrong Path".

I liked those two lines, too. I like a touch of humor once in a while, even in dire situations.

I don't think you're strange at all. After all, you like my stories! :o)

Author Reply: Thank you. I imagine Legolas is wondering the same thing.

Yes, Legolas must have felt terribly guilty; but to know the comfort is coming from Aragorn and to be willing to accept it is more than a good step toward healing. Lovely again.

Author Reply: I wish PJ had had the time to explore Legolas's emotions after Helm's Deep. Out of everyone involved, I think Aragorn is the one whose opinion would have meant the most to him. Thank you.

Yes, I can see this. Very well done extrapolation from that marvelous movie moment.

Author Reply: Thank you. I'm glad you like what I've done and how I did it. I hope you'll like the next one equally well.

Aw, that was sweet. I don't know if a Man would have been able to return the chick to the nest without alarming its mother, but it makes sense that Elves might be able to do it. They're much more closely tied to the natural world, after all.

Author Reply: I agree wholeheartedly. Elves, especially wood elves, can hear as well as feel the world around them. I could never picture that mother hawk being afraid of Legolas. She certainly thought she was giving him a grand reward for saving her baby.

Hi White wolf,

Its so nice to see an update to your tales. I like this last drabble the best!( but I've said that about each one you posted. LOL) I always wondered how Legolas felt after the wall exploded, especially since so many elves died at Helms deep. Writing it from Aragorns POV is a nice touch, glad to see him in tune with his friends despair. Now since it's connected to the next drabble, I won't feel guilty for bugging you about a quick Post.

Your fan,

Eliza

Author Reply: I'm glad that you like each story better than the last one. It shows that I'm getting better as a writer and plot-builder. I've often wondered how PJ would have played Legolas's feelings, if he'd had the time to explore them. I'm glad that, at least, he didn't have Aragorn blaming Legolas. I think that would have devastated our elf. I'll get the next drabble up after I update Dragonfire.

The Firstborn carry those emotions and memories far into a future we mortals can hardly imagine.

That's quite a price to pay for such a long life. This is a marvelous "internal" gap-filler.

Author Reply: I agree that immortality has a price for the elves. I'm glad you like the internal nature of the story. I rarely write first person stories, but this one and the next just 'demanded' it.

Late night reading this time White Wolf. I shall go to sleep dreaming of Aragorn looking kingly and Legolas looking princely. Perfect timing as I have just spent the day supporting a good friend. We all need this kind of afirmation.

Author Reply: We certainly do need that kind of affirmation. You sound like a good friend, too.

What a great conversation! Legolas is a wonderful friend.

Author Reply: Thank you. I agree with your assessment of Legolas as a friend..
