| Perfect! I love the connection between elf and nature here, and it really reminds me of my first cat bringing my dad a mouse as a gift. The poor dear couldn't figure out why the man was so upset - she meant it as a compliment... Author Reply: Thank you. I love that connection, too. | Well if anyone should recognize a king when they see one, it's Legolas. Becoming king must have been quite a shock to Aragorn's system after all those years as a ranger. Author Reply: That intuitive elf knows his friend very well. As for Aragorn, it's definitely a far cry from ranger to king. He fought his destiny a long time, and now he has to deliver. | |

| Oh, hurray! I love Aragorn's "If you hate it so much then stop getting yourself injured." I love his tartness to conceal the worry. And the ending is perfect. Nice writing!
