Hauntingly beautiful.

Author Reply: Thank you. :)

Awww!! Snuggly hobbits!! How adorable. Sweet to see Frodo already feeling he could trust this mysterious Ranger.

I'd still like a snuggly hobbit though! :-))

Author Reply: I think Frodo had a very keen perception when it came to 'Strider'.

There aren't many things better than hobbit snuggling! I think we need our own snuggly hobbits...

Very sweet, I love Frodo and Aragorn stories.

Author Reply: So do I!!

And Strider has also proved his trustworthiness to Sam as well obviously. And now we know the reason for the wonderful hobbit-pile.

Author Reply: I just can't get enough of snuggled hobbits. Lucky Strider, to be trusted so. :D

Interesting story. I liked it very much. :) That's so sweet that Frodo trusted Aragorn even in his sleep. It's obvious from the books that Frodo was more willing to trust Aragorn than any of the others. Not sure what my point was in saying that... All right, all right. I'm off to bed. I really shouldn't do this late night thing. :) And usually I'm such a night owl...
Namarie,
God Bless,
Yours,
Frodo Baggins

Author Reply: I'm glad you liked this. I think Frodo was very perceptive -- from the very beginning -- when it came to Aragorn.

AntaneReviewed Chapter: 9 on 1/30/2007
I love it! I've imagined him at times curling up to Sam the same way after the Quest. Very nice - he's found another brother. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Frodo just needs all the snuggling and comfort and trust he can find. :D

This is very sweet, and had to be extremely heartwarming for Strider, the scruffy Ranger of the North, to realize that such a beautiful soul had decided, whether consciously or subconsciously, that he was trustworthy. Frodo may have had to be as much in control, and self-contained as he could while awake, but his sleeping mind knew that he could entrust himself to Aragorn's care, and finally acted on it. For one who had lived hiding his true self for so long, who had been unappreciated, misunderstood, even feared ... what a wondrous gift to be given. Beautiful story, Shirebound - thank you for sharing!

Author Reply: Frodo really is a "beautiful soul", and I love how you say that. This truly is a tribute to Strider's worth, and Frodo's ability to perceive it. Thank you so much.

Awww! *grins while diving into fluff* This is cute and amusing, Shirebound. Oh, the stories my family can tell about sleepwalking! It always makes me uncomfortable, but Aragorn didn't seem a bit surprised, and, of course, who wouldn't be happy about having the trust of Frodo Baggins? (I guess he might have had to be accustomed to such things; I have a feeling being a healer would give one experience with *lots* of stuff. Hmmm, there could be some stories there...*nudges cute little bunny* :)) Thank you for a smile! :)
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed! I only sleep-walked once (that I know about). It's a strange phenomenon, isn't it? If only we all had a snuggly Ranger (or hobbit) to curl up with!

DaynawaynaReviewed Chapter: 9 on 1/30/2007
HOW CUTE! OMG Janet I love it! And you know what? I'll bet it happened exactly that way, too! Can I curl up on Aragorn's lap too? Pweease? ::giggle::

Author Reply: Thank you. I can't figure out why this scene wasn't filmed! (Or maybe it was, and it was just too melty and cuddly for a PG-13 movie. Ah well, we can imagine all we wish!) Let's all take turns curling up on Aragorn's lap...

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 9 on 1/30/2007
Now, that I certainly didn't see coming! But lovely thought, that Frodo had come to respect him as a protector that quickly.

Author Reply: Thank you. The birthday girl especially loves Frodo - Aragorn friendship scenes, and this seemed an appropriate gift for her. :D
