| Oh, poor, poor, dear Frodo! You touched a chord with this one, Armariel. I'm dealing with this same problem in my story "The Last Days." Fortunately I still have a few chapters to think about it, but in the end, how *will* Frodo deliver such a blow to Sam's great, brave, loving heart? I think I have it partly figured out now, thanks to you. | Hey there! Me again. We moved to a teeny tiny town in WI called Eau Claire. Never heard of it? Not surprised. It rained all the while we were unloading, then we lost the key to the house and had to use the old hairpin trick that (very surprisingly) worked. Stressful? Not at all ...*note sarcasm*. Well, nothing more to chatter off about. Actually, one more thing -- whose perspective is this from?? Love you lots... Farawyn Author Reply: Wisconsin, eh? | Oh, this is SO much in keeping with my understanding of the relationship between Frodo and Sam. The hope of following is granted Sam, the one thing to sustain him during the living years. Thanks so much for this one, Armariel. This is superb. Author Reply: Oh thanks...this one sneaked up on me late last night, and I could hardly wait to get it down on--I was about to say paper...well, get it down.
