Very nice... Frodo is sitting with Merry as he is ill. He seems to get worse all of the sudden...Everyone is clustered around him as they fear the worse. Pippin is frightened but his mother trys to encouage him saying he will be well soon... Good job... | |

| Poor Merry. He is Not Well At All. That must have been a very frightening moment for Frodo. It's a lot for Pippin to deal with, too. I hope the recovery starts fairly soon - Merry can't have a lot of strength left now. Author Reply: I think Frodo is just as scared as Pippin, yes, and it is a lot for both of them to deal with. | |

| EEp! Poor Merry! A fever spike and an (obviously movie verse :p) dream! Poor little fellow. This was a very well done chapter - well paced and nicely orchestrated. Thank you! | What terrible nightmares! I hope Merry's only memory, when he awakes, is of "a wonderfully soft pillow beneath his cheek and snug blankets tucked lovingly in about him." And all the love surrounding him. Author Reply: yes the dreams are very bad. And of course, I can`t answer what happens when he wakes up. ;) | |

| You actually brought tears to my eyes with this chapter. Poor Merry! Poor Frodo and Pippin! Even though I know it has to turn out all right in the end, you have me worried. And I like Merry having the prophetic dreams. Can't wait for more...*have* to wait for more... Author Reply: *dries your tears*^ Yes I like the dreams too, and since he is so very ill, it is more probable that he has them too. Yup, I`m sorry that you have to wait for more, but the next chapter is with Marigold but it shouldn`t bee too long. | |
