Author Reply: Indeed, but true tales don't always have a happy ending -- sadly. -- And I'm... relieved, that it didn't sound too dramatic to you. Someone I asked to beta-read this piece said the ending was too dramatic. Well, if you are rethinking it again, I would be quite glad to receive a second opinion on this.
