Title:Parsley Knowledge
Atuthor:Anso the Hobbit
Beta:Marigold
Note: Written for Marigold's Challenge 26 where I was supposed to come up with an idiom, and here it is: Just because parsley's green, doesn't mean it isn't seen.

Thanks to Llinos for making the idiom rhyme and to the Norwegian author Inger Hagerup for writing the lovely children's poem about the parsley.

"Sam?" Merry asked, sitting on his knees in Bag End's garden and studying the vast amount of plants around them. "How do you know what are proper plants and what are weeds?"

"Well," Sam said looking at Merry, happy to share some of his knowledge. "We have a saying for that. Many of the weeds look nice but do more damage to the garden than good, but some plants are hardly noticeable and could be taken for weeds if you didn't know how to look for them. Gardener's say that just because the parsley's green, doesn't mean it isn't seen."
