He had not seen anything with such clarity ever before. The shores of Tol Eressea drew near, the mountain standing high above, and he could see the top, with no wreathing of cloud, though it reached higher than any mountain he ever had seen. He looked at Frodo, the wind in his dark curls. There was a touch of sun on his pale cheeks, and a look of wonder in his blue eyes-- even here bluer than the sky-- as he grinned. His lad’s healing had begun. |
