A daughter was rather rare in the House of Finwë. Out of the 24 family members (the wives not counted), there were only 5 females. So how would a daughter be received in one of the lucky families in the House? Especially if she was the last child of her generation... A small snippet about a peaceful (...or not) existence in Valinor before the death of the Two Trees and the rebellion.
