| Biography: | whoooer! Haven't been here in a while
*dusts cobwebs* So, I think I created this account in the very early 2000's? Who knows. Either way it was veryveryvery out of date! I fell out of fanfiction for a while and completely forgot I even had this account or Stories of Arda even existed until I was linked to a story here from the MEFA's a couple of weeks ago. (apologies to Stories of Arda and all associates) But now I am back! So.... Please Note: My fanfiction.net account under this penname (also linked from here) is where all of my work can be found. For purposes of presenting a more respectable front I am only posting newer and more polished stories on this, and other fanfiction websites I have recently joined. Most of my older dated work is, as you can expect, not all that spectacular, its very tempting to delete a lot of my older work but I feel I should leave it somewhere for history's sake! A Rohanian who eats like a hobbit and wishes she was an elf ;) I am of the female variety and living happily with a very nice man in a very nice little home full of fun books, music and films that refuse to stop inspiring me. I like jogs, dogs, walks, visiting castles/historic sites, history, the countryside and wide open fields/spaces, forests, the beautiful English landscape in general, reading, cooking, horse riding, my hugely ignoble steed (bless), photography, pear cider, music, breakfast, newcastle brown ale, writing when I get time and inspiration, gigs, eating, whiskey... Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer!!! I enjoy reading: Tolkien Robin Hobb Scott Lynch Patrick Rothfuss Chris Evans Juliet Marillier (well...kind of) Neil Gaiman Charles de Lint Terry Pratchett Sarah Ash Cecilia Dart Thornton (well I liked the first Bitterbynde one, after that things fell downhill) CS Lewis Angus Donald Holly Black Phillipa Gregory William Blake Robert E Howard Mark Twain Edgar Allen Poe Shakespeare Recently Stephanie Meyer... well... ish .. for comic value and take your brain out entertainment Trashy and smutty romance novels ;) etc etc. I enjoy listening to: Doom Black Metal Death Metal Classic Rock Folk Snippets of classical And a lot of things in-between all that Things I particularly enjoy watching: Last of the Mohicans Braveheart Beauty and the Beast Conan the Barbarian 300 Hero The Outlaw Josey Wales/generally all Clint Eastwood films/Clint Eastwood in general! Terminator Phantom of the Opera Pulp Fiction The Doors Labyrinth Dracula (Francis Ford Coppola) Pocahontas Eastern Promises The Lord of the Rings triology to an extent.. The X-Files Robin of Sherwood series, the BBC's new 'Robin Hood' is a travesty Sons of Anarchy By no means are these exhaustive lists! |
