Biography:   I write hobbit stories and Marigold beta's them for me. She also provides my muse and will spend forever talking over plot ideas with me. My longest story to date (too long some would say)is "Recaptured". I have not the strength to load it here yet, but it is available to read on fanfiction.net. There are other things I can load here though, in the fullness of time.
bullet Limericks by Llinos Last Updated: 1/8/2011
My Limerick Collection is growing - so I've decided to branch out from the dreaded ff.net and put them here - there are some new and some old. Apart from the original Fellowship set (fit the first) all the others are via requests received. NB: I'm still up for requests.

bullet Kiss The Lasses One Last Time by Llinos Last Updated: 1/5/2008
A story for Twelth Night - Or in Hobbit Culture - Last Yule! During the Quest the hobbits have to make do with something less than they are used to. This Story is dedicated to Pipkin Sweetgrass. Because of the strength of her fascination in the relationship between Merry and Pippin and Boromir, I was inspired to make the Gondorian the agent provocateur of this piece. Therefore this story is dedicated to Ginger thebeecharmer with appreciation for her insight and bonnie memories of Scotland!

bullet Are You Going To Leave Me? by Llinos Last Updated: 3/23/2007
The first chapter of this was originally posted on Marigold's Challenge 38 – which was to write a gap-filler. I decided that there are far more gaps in the film than the book, so I chose filmverse. This is the scene where Pip finds Merry on the battlefield and explains how on Middle-earth he got him back to the City and eventually onto the back of Éomer's horse. A gap that really needed filling!

bullet Bilbo's Gifts by Llinos Last Updated: 1/14/2007
Co-authored with Marigold

(Written for Marigold's Challenge 36 - Theme - any 3rd anniversary)

"His gold and silver was largely spent in presents, both useful and extravagant - which to a certain extent accounts for the affection of his nephews and his nieces." "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien

But some of Bilbo's gifts were even more generous and long-lasting than the recipients could have guessed...

bullet Helping Hands by Llinos Last Updated: 12/29/2006
A set of four drabbles, each featuring one of the hobbits, and giving tiny glimpses of post-quest problems where an unspoken, helping hand was sorely needed. The dates and places, whilst not included in the word count, are extremely relevant.

bullet A Partnership in Villainy by Llinos Last Updated: 12/22/2006
This story is an extrapolation of a brief memory that occurred in the story Recaptured, taking Pippin back to a happy, although fraught, Yuletide spent at Brandy Hall with Merry, when he was five and Merry was thirteen.

bullet Merry Yule and Orange Pips by Llinos Last Updated: 12/22/2006
This is a Yuletide memory, taken from Recaptured, and follows on from A Partnership in Villainy. Pippin is now seven and Merry 15. The idea came from my wonderful beta Marigold, so kudos and thanks to her for the bunny.

bullet Frodo's Exciting Day Out by Llinos Last Updated: 6/24/2006
The Quest was a massive labour, of that there is no doubt. However, in this rather AU version, we see that it pays to have friends in high places. FINAL CHAPTER "With Eggsies and Flowers and Fish" is now posted.

bullet Big Enough To Be Thain by Llinos Last Updated: 8/5/2003
Looking at the genealogy tables it would appear that Paladin Took was 82 years of age before he became Thain. Pippin would have been 25 years old at that time. Up until then, Ferumbras III held the title. Nor was Ferumbras Pippin's grandfather, but a distant cousin, so the dynasty was not that obvious. Therefore, contrary to popular belief, (or many fics anyway) Paladin Took was an ordinary farmer when Pippin was born, and did not become Thain until after Ferumbras’ death. This story humb
