· Chapter 10: Nightmares and Treachery
I am so happy to see this chapter up. It is great! I love Thranduil's interaction with Legolas. But the whole thing with Serai! Whoa! I bet Thranduil was frightening. I would not want to cross him period. But to threaten the person that just saved Legolas. The defenseless person when you are a supposedly trusted guard. Oooo I wouldn't want Thranduil to catch me in that. They should be very glad it is not him that will mete out justice.
Thranduil's reaction to the spy following him is perfect as well and a very ominous development. I sure hope you update soon.

Oh, that's so wonderful! Please hurry up and post more! I think Serai is my favorite, though I pity her greatly. I can't wait to see Rosie acting as a counsellor, she will be so good at it! Don't give up! Please post soon!

Faramir's assistant!? Oh my, that certainly was unexpected, for me. I wonder if they will believe Legolas, or just wait until they have more proof. Don't leave us waiting here! More soon please.

Oh, the plot thickens! I had a feeling that 'his Lordship' would turn up sooner or later - and he'd think himself safe as Legolas never actually saw him. What will happen if he realises he can be identified by voice?
BTW, I think your formatting may be off - it looks as if some dialogue is missing. I keep seeing sections like this: ““ He asked. What was asked is missing.

Oh, court intrigue. Elessar shan't be pleased about that, nor Faramir (not that either is pleased already.) Very good chapter. I liked addition of the Hobbits. On thing though, its probably just my ancient computer, but all the Sindarin dialogue was missing (just "".)

I'm glad to see the next part of this.
Is it hobbitses in the baskets? Is it?
I'm glad Legolas is getting better - and that his father can see that the presence of Gimli and the Slayer of the Witch King is enough protection for him.
What has become of the poor girl who found him?
And - I'm sorry, but I feel forced to mention the dnager that Legolas is in in the blurb. In case it's an unplanned dnager.

I'm very glad to see an update on this story! Poor Legolas is making a slow recovery, but it's good to see Thranduil and Gimli both at his side. I also like to see that he is not left alone at any point - the conspirators are still out there somewhere!
I like Eowyn's memories - I can imagine that the older women would want to mother him, and the younger ones just *want* him.

Hooray! I just reread this story a day or two ago and was thinking "man! It's been a long time since this was updated!" An excellent chapter. Well worth the wait. :-D People too often forget the aftermath of trauma, so I' m glad to see Legolas is healing, but not instantly mentally okay.

· Chapter 7: Revelations and Awakenings
Ah, wasn't this lovely! *sigh* I loved how gentle and tender Thranduil was when he held his son. As if Legolas were a piece of fragile glass. And the way you described his awakening was just superb! The transition from his Elfling memories to reality was heartbreaking and touching at the same time. Gimli and Thranduil actually had something in common, anger at the ones who did this to Legolas. It was nice to see them brought together by their love for Legolas. And speaking of love, I really loved how you had both Thranduil and Gimli holding on to and comforting Legolas at the end of this chapter. :)
Serai is such a sweet girl. Elladan and Elrohir sure made a lasting impression on her. She is enamoured by all Elves. :) I'm glad they will be taking care of her and seeing to her needs. That poor child deserves some rest and a life without hurt!
Can't wait till the next chappy! :)

Ah, me think that mere slip of a girl is going to find herself in the lap of luxury soon, and for the rest of her days to boot, no? ;) She deserves it for saving our beautiful Elf! :)
I'm sooooo glad he was finally found! Poor Leggy, he must be horribly thin and pale. :( Please hurry and post the next chapter so he can get all better! :)

How nice to see a happy chapter! Legolas is safe, and will recover. Thranduil has his son back, and is being civil to Gimli. The girl has found 'her' elves again.
I like the characterisations and relationships you show between the central characters. They are mature and sensible. I hate stories that show the adult twins as clowns and buffoons, totally irresponsible. Well done.

I absolutely love the way you portray Thranduil. And this is the first story I've seen with Thranduil interacting with Estel and Arwen. I love it. This was a fantastic chapter all the way through. Dying for the next...

This is really good. You've built a great mystery! I can't wait to see what happens next and who's responsible! I'm also looking foward to seeing if Serai continues to be involved in the story. Good work! I hope you ipdate soon.

Thank heavens Legolas has been found! It seems particularly evil to leave someone to starve to death. I like your OCs, especially the girl and the guard captain - and we have the twins to thank for the girl's actions! I like the way they charmed her so much she never forgot them.
This conspiracy seems widespread - four guards, changing frequently, means lots of traitors! I fear we'll hear more of them.

Hi Sheraiah
I have told you before that I really like the way you portray the King. :)
Hooray! You let Arwen get into the mix.
I'm still of the opinion that she would not have been sitting at home with her knitting when Aragorn was late getting to Rivendell in FotR
Now, ya gotta let them find Legolas

A great chapter - I love to see Thranduil in action! I also like the fact that Arwen is perfectly able to defend herself, and the knives her brothers gave her. I'm worried about Legolas, though.
